Telecommunications/Cabling Installation Program

The course provides a short-term, customized program in pre-employment and post-employment training.
The course teaches apprentice level fundamentals for those persons seeking employment in the
telecommunications/fiber optics field. Individuals learn how to install, terminate, troubleshoot and identify various copper wires, coaxial wires, fiber optic cables as well as ladder managements. The students also learn how to follow blueprints for the installation of telecommunication and computer systems. The course consists of instructor-led lectures, presentations, and structured hands on activities.

Business Office Services

This intensive short-term course is designed to teach the skills and techniques needed for individuals to obtain entry level positions. Individuals will become knowledgeable and successful in the Microsoft Office Suite. Students will use PC’s or compatible computers while in the course. All components from Microsoft
are introduced including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software. The course consists of instructor-led lectures, presentations, and structured hands on activities. Additional computer laboratory time is provided to reinforce concepts and skills.
