Business Communications Institute is located on the fifth floor of the Central Plaza Building,
which has a Bank of America branch and a MacDonalds restaurant on the ground level.
The building stands on Wilshire Boulevard, probably one of the most important streets in Los Angeles,
between Normandie Avenue and Mariposa Avenue.

Business Communication Institute is conveniently located in the center of a variety of shops
and businesses, including:

• Bank - Business Communications Institute students can find convenient banking around our
  campus because there are many bank branches near our school. A Bank of America branch
  is located on the ground level of our building. Others include Wells Fargo Bank, Nara Bank,
  Hanmi Bank, Pacific City Bank, and Hanin Federal Credit Union, among others.
• Library - A branch of the Los Angeles public library, called Pio Pico Koreatown, is located in
  thebuilding directly to the south of our school. The library is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  daily.
• Subway Station - The MTA operates the Metro Purple Line, an underground subwaysystem.
  An underground station is located at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Normandie Avenue,
  only five minutes from our classrooms.
• Shopping Mall - Wilshire Boulevard has various shopping malls, such as the Aroma Shopping
  Center, and many individual shops, restaurants, fitness centers, and banks as well.
• Restaurant - A variety of restaurants resides here at the Central Plaza building, such as
  Wasabi (Japanese), Mamma Mia (Italian), Numero Uno (Pizza & Pasta), Café Metro, Togo’s,
  Essence Coffee, and MacDonalds.
• Supermarket - Business Communications Institute is walking distance to Ralphs, one of
  America’s largest franchise supermarkets. The supermarket is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  daily. This is a place where students can buy groceries, deli products, and foods.
• Drug Store - CVS/pharmacy is located across the street from Ralphs, near the intersection
  of Wilshire and Western Boulevards.
• Fitness - For students who love to exercise, 24hr Fitness is located five minutes’ walking
  distance from BCI, and there is also a spa and fitness center on the second floor of the
  Aroma Center shopping mall.
• Golf - For students who love to golf, a four-story outdoor driving range is located at thesouth
  side of the Aroma Center shopping mall. There are also golf shops inside the mall.
• Coffee Shop - Both the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Starbucks maintain locations severa
  l blocks from BCI, near the Aroma Center shopping mall. Also, Essence Coffee is on the ground
  level of our building.
• Wiltern Theatre - Business Communications Institute is just a five-minute walk to the famous
  Wiltern Theater, where a variety of events takes, place including: rock/pop concerts, dance
  performances, award shows, television tapings, and stage productions.
• Other Businesses - There are many other businesses around our school, including
  Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, Cingular Wireless, a hair salon, a gift shop, and many others.

Subway System
The following MTA underground subway stops at Wilshire/Normandie station:

• The Metro Purple Line travels from Union Station to Wilshire and Western. At the Wilshire and
  Vermont station, one stop from our school, students can board the Red Line to North Hollywood,
  Universal City, Hollywood, Los Feliz, Westlake, Civic Center, and Union Station
